The people are friendly and most of the beach lovers tend to be nature lovers with family's who want to enjoy nature away from the large crowded tourist areas. If your mellow and enjoy relaxing with a "Mai Pen Rai" attitude which is Thai for no worries then Koh Wai Island is definitely for you. If you want peace and quite and you go somewhere else and find the noise and people distracting then "Som Num Nah" which is Thai for Serves you right!
